Innovative Precast Solutions, Inc. (IPC) is a primary producer of pre-stressed and pre-cast concrete products for the commercial construction industry.
With three manufacturing facilities in daily operation and with offices in Des Moines, Iowa City and Kansas City, IPC is among the largest and most capable pre-cast producers in the U.S. Founded in 1956, IPC has been part of the Pre-cast/Pre-stressed Concrete Institute’s (PCI) certification program since its inception, assuring the industry’s highest standards of quality control, safety and cutting edge manufacturing technology.
Challenge
When IPC took an honest look at its public Web site, they quickly came to the conclusion it was no longer properly representing the company or helping to communicate IPC’s impressive client project portfolio. While the company has grown dynamically over the last several years, the site remained static and gradually became outdated and no longer a relevant marketing asset.
Strategies and Tactics
Trabon Solution’s business consultants and design staff worked closely with IPC management to identify target audiences and how best to organize and communicate the wide range of products and services IPC provides. Additionally, an expanded project gallery showcased the variety and flexibility of IPC offerings for buildings of all kinds. To ensure Web site visitors could find the information needed—quickly and easily—Trabon completely reorganized the navigation of the site.
Results
IPC now has a dynamic, latest generation business Web site that presents relevant information to clients and prospects. Crisp writing and meaningful, illustrative graphics and project presentations engage the viewer, making it simple to understand how IPC can meet specific building needs. The site is developed in Trabon's portal architecture, providing for easy, non-technical administration of the content and navigational structure. The new IPC web site has received praise from architects, construction professionals, contractors and building owners.
