Overview

Creditors Service Corporation (CSC) is the leading provider of performance-based credit management solutions. Serving a wide range of diverse domestic and international organizations, CSC clients benefit from tailored process solutions addressed through strategic and tactical initiatives. Formed in January 1996, the practice operates as an independent consultancy, and serves commercial credit grantors.

Challenge

CSC needed a way to develop an offering for several of its credit association management clients to help facilitate and manage association member meetings and provide a more efficient administrative process to the trade groups they serve. They needed a strategic partner to help conceptualize and develop an online system which could emulate the interaction of a group meeting environment while eliminating distance and logistics barriers.

Strategies and Tactics

Trabon Solutions began working with CSC and two of its clients, the National Association of Credit Management and Wisconsin Credit Association, to design a secure, scalable online platform for authorized members to submit, exchange and view trade group credit information. Facilitated discovery sessions and collaborative client-led design meetings quickly led to recommended architecture for the new portal. Trabon completed the development in the time promised.

The new system, Trade Group Exchange (TGX), is designed to:

  • Accept, organize and store credit data reported electronically or manually by trade group members
  • Manage member meetings where confidential credit information is exchanged
  • Streamline the process for trade group administration
  • Provide member interaction through discussion lists, account comments and risk alert posts

Results

  • Credit Association clients now have a money-saving portal (TGX), which allows for efficient and timely access to information critical to credit extension decisions
  • TGX is secure, reliable and available for reference everywhere the Web reaches
  • The design of the online tool is user-friendly, requiring virtually no training, as it mirrors the original paper-based workflow users are familiar with
